Teacher Appreciation Week

Despite what some may think, teaching is NOT an easy job! It's very rewarding but also very hard! Luckily, there is Teacher Appreciation Week...and during that week, teacher's feel like they are royalty!

My room mom did an AMAZING job making sure I felt loved and appreciated. Here's what she did each day:

Monday:
She had me tell a few things about myself to my students then she kicked me out of my classroom for 30 minutes so I could go do anything I needed to do! TIME is so PRECIOUS for a teacher!
Tuesday She brought in a plate full of chocolate covered strawberries (my favorite things to eat!!)
Wednesday: Her daughter brought me a DELICIOUS blueberry muffin and orange juice for my breakfast. And it worked out perfectly because I was running late and didn't eat any breakfast that morning!!
Thursday: My room mom came in and gave me a gift card to Zupas...my favorite place to eat!
Friday: I was presented a cute class-made book (pictured above) she had done with my students on Monday. Each page had a picture of a student with a note they wrote to me. CUTE! She also gave me 2 tickets to go see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat which she and other parents chipped in to get.

AND on top of all that, I had other students bring me cute cards and little gifts throughout the week as well! I felt SPOILED!!!
