Tyler and I are both 1 year older! We decided our birthday gift to each other would be to let each other shop for our own gift (that way we both get what we really want!)
On my birthday, my room mom showed up at school and gave me a huge bouquet of balloons. She is awesome! After work Tyler took me shopping! We went to one of my favorite stores--the wood connection--and I got some super fun crafts for me to do this summer! Then we hit the mall where I bought a couple of cute shirts.
For Ty's birthday he was pretty exhausted from a hard day of work so we took it easy that night...we ordered a pizza and had it delivered and we chilled and watched a movie. His birthday present was some parts for his Vespa he has been fixing up. And in honor of his vespa...I made a vespa cake! I took a picture but it's hard to tell what it is in the pic...it looked much better in person! I made a black vespa out of modeling chocolate and put it on top of a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and green sprinkles (for the grass!)
It was a fun birthday week!
