Bathroom Craft

SUMMER is here!!

Which means...I get to spend more time on crafts! I LOVE crafts.

I have decided that I want a seashell/beach theme for my bathroom. I was at the dollar store and found these little wooden shadow boxes...

and I had a GREAT idea for what I could do!

First I painted them.

Then I got some construction paper and cut it to the size I wanted...wrapped some some burlap around it and glued to the backside of the paper.

Next, I got some seashells (also from the dollar store...the starfish I got from Hobby Lobby. I glued the burlap covered paper into the shadow box, glued the seashells onto the burlap and voila! A cute wall hanging for my bathroom!

And how much did I spend? Let's see...
3 shadow boxes: $3
seashells: $3
burlap: had on hand
paint: on hand
paper: on hand
hot glue gun: on hand.

Which is a grand total of....$6! Now that's a good deal!
