Birthdays and Mother's Day

This year my birthday fell on Mother's Day which I found very appropriate. This was my first Mother's Day being a mom which is the best gift a girl could ask for! I love being a mom to this sweet boy. He brings me so much joy and happiness every day. If I'm ever sad or stressed just holding this little guy instantly makes me feel better :) Every day is happier with him in it!

The evening before, we went to dinner with Tyler's family at Macaroni Grill to celebrate Mother's Day. This was our first time taking Miles out (besides to the doctor). He did great...just slept the whole time :)

It was Milo's first time meeting his cousin Jack who is a month and a half older than him. 

Tyler and I have our birthdays 6 days apart. We didn't do much for our birthdays this year since we had a newborn at home and I was still healing. My mom had left a cake in the freezer for us so we ate that on my birthday. On Tyler's birthday his best friend Ben brought over an ice cream cake. Then we had our birthday dinner celebration at the Abeyta's with Aaron Shelton (our bro in law) and our niece Kaci. 

It was a nice relaxing birthday for both of us!
