Nauvoo (part 2)

Between all of the bagpipe gigs, we were able to do a little bit of sightseeing. One afternoon we were able to walk around Carthage Jail.

While we were driving we saw a plane crop dusting a field.

This bridge was built by Joseph Smith, Brigham Young and Parley P. Pratt

This is the spot where the pioneers crossed the river.

We were fortunate enough to do a session in the Nauvoo Temple one morning with Tyler's family.

One of my favorite days in Nauvoo was a day Tyler took time off from the bagpipe band and we went around Nauvoo, just the two of us.

We went to an old graveyard and saw some neat graves.

We also went to the Mississippi River and enjoyed the beautiful sunset.
