December Oklahoma trip

This is what Tyler does every time we take a trip to Oklahoma...

Haha! Sorry, I couldn't resist...love that movie! :)

In December, Tyler and I flew out to Oklahoma to visit. We did a lot of fun things! One of the first few days we were there, we went to the ice skating rink in Tulsa.

Right after ice skating, Tyler and Craig (my brother-in-law) went to the shooting range. Craig had never shot a gun before, so Tyler taught him and said Craig was a natural!

Tyler really liked this shooting range. He said it was one of the best he has been to.

My mom is AWESOME and did some research before we came out. She found out about a museum called J.M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum that had a huge gun collection...over 20,000 firearms! We went with my parents one day to check it out and Tyler was in HEAVEN! Haha. It was a pretty amazing museum!

The sign reads: "Young J.M. Davis was frequently ill and had to take medicines he felt tasted bad At one point he blatantly refused to take any more medicine. The doctor told the boy's parents that without this medicine, the boy would probably die. Young J.M.'s parents, doing what any good parents would do in such a situation, resorted to bribery. They promised to purchase the boy a small shotgun if he promised to take the medicine. Both parties agreed, and his parents bought the .410 bore muzzle loading percussion shotgun. Little did they know that this simple shotgun would begin what would become the world's largest privately held collection of firearms."

I loved seeing all of the super old guns. And I loved the baby guns!

Although most of the museum was a gun collection, there were other really neat things there as well.

And of course we hit up the mall to do some shopping!

Well....most of us shopped...:)

When we weren't out and about, we were hanging out with family and enjoying some relaxation time!
