It all started Sunday. We went to Tyler's parents house for a mother's day/birthday celebration. We had cake (which I had to blow out twice cause the picture didn't work this first time, haha) and presents. It was a fun celebration! I have the greatest in-laws!
On Monday after school, Tyler took me shopping at the mall. My mom sent a gift card for clothes plus Tyler let me pick out some summer clothes (which I desperately needed!) as my birthday present. A few hours later, we headed home with several new outfits! Yay!
On Tuesday (my birthday) my aide at school kicked me out of the classroom for about half an hour. When I came back in, they sang me happy birthday and my kids had each made me a birthday card. My aide had developed and framed a picture of my class and had them each sign it. I just have to plug in a word about my aide--she is AWESOME! I absolutely love her!
After work, Tyler took me out to eat and we got dessert. Then...we went and got yet ANOTHER present! (he is WAY to nice to me!) We went to a music store he used to work at to get a boom stand for the mic for my piano. (it makes the recording process MUCH easier if I don't have to hold the mic) They only had the more expensive stands so the guy offered us a 15% discount. Tyler talked him into 20%. Tyler mentioned that he used to work there and when he told the worker his name, the worker said "you're Tyler Abeyta? You're the bagpipe player! I'll give you 30% off for that!" Yes, my husband got a 30% discount just for being awesome. :) the rest of the evening was spent relaxing and enjoying time with my hubby!
It was a FANTASTIC birthday!!! Thanks to everyone who made it special!
