I LOVE making cakes for people, but they are very time consuming so I have been averaging about 1 or 2 a year :)
For our nephew Riley's birthday, I decided to make him a lego cake. I found a super easy way to make it and was so excited! I also was very lazy and used a cake mix I had on hand (Betty Crocker) instead of going to the store and buying the kind I usually use (Pillsbury...with a few added ingredients). Well, the cake was VERY soft...every time I would try to frost it, a huge chunk of cake would come off, haha. Oh well...now I know what will happen if I try to use Betty Crocker. Lesson learned.

It turned out alright...not nearly as perfect as I envisioned in my head...but not bad.
My favorite part was the Lego sign...it was super fun to make and turned out well!
