Love and Marriage

This summer, my family came out for a few weeks. It was so fun being able to hang out with them! They ended up staying an extra week since my little brother got married. The day before his wedding, my sister Sharon flew out and we spent the day in Salt Lake and went and saw the Joseph Smith movie on temple square.



The wedding was beautiful! It was the first sealing Tyler and I had been to since our own. It was nice to be able to sit back and relax! Jenna looked beautiful and the wedding and reception went great! They had their reception outside at a church building. This church had a huge lawn area with a cute white fence and a pavilion..which they decorated with material and lights so you couldn't even tell it was a pavilion. It was beautiful and the weather was perfect.

We missed family who couldn't make it...Craig (Sharon's hubbie) and the kids couldn't make it due to work, and Jamie, Jeff and their kids were planning on coming but flights were full and they weren't able to get on one. We wish we could have seen everyone...but that just gives us an excuse to get together again soon, right? :)

The last day my family was here, I got to have a little girl's day with my sisters! My mom went to her aunt's funeral with my grandma and my dad went to a reunion for his extended family so us girls went shopping for the day! After we shopped for awhile, we decided to splurge...both with our money and with our diet...and eat at cheesecake factory! YUM!

That evening I had tickets to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. My room mom last year had given them to me as an 'End of the Year' gift. I had planned on taking Tyler with me, but when he found out Sharon would be here, he gave up his ticket so I could take Sharon instead! He figured she would enjoy it more than he would :) If you have never seen it, you definitely should! We LOVED it! It's the story of Joseph out of the Bible...it was ALL singing (which I love!) and I was surprised how funny it was! I would love to see it again!



It was fun having my family here! Hopefully we will be able to meet up with them again soon!
