Oklahoma, Oklahoma, Oklahoma!

A couple of days after the wedding, Tyler and I got in the car and drove the long 19 hours to Oklahoma for our second reception. About 5 hours down the road we ran into a HUGE snowstorm. They closed the freeway so we stayed in a hotel room in Rawlings, Wyoming. The hotel we called only had 1 room available....a suite. And they gave it to us for a cheaper price! We had a jaccuzzi in our room...it was heaven! And we were totally spoiled...now whenever we go anywhere, we try to get a room with a jaccuzzi.

After they opened the roads the next day, we drove as fast as we could! About 45 minutes away, we hit yet another storm...a thunderstorm this time. Now, for those who aren't familiar with the midwest....thunderstorms there can be SCARY. It was raining so hard we could only see about a foot in front of us. Tyler was freaking out. I was freaking out. And then suddenly...it stopped. No rain at all. Tyler was convinced we had passed into the eye of the tornado :) But we didn't. And we made it home safely.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to spend too much time in Oklahoma. We made the best of our time though! We went with my mom, sister, and her kids to Woolaroc. It's such a fun place....
